Is Paramount Recreation
Club for members only?
No, we are not a members only club. While we do offer memberships, everyone is welcome to attend a class by buying a casual pass or to eat and drink at the Kiosk. Access to the club and memberships will only be limited if necessary to maintain the standard of training and service we set for ourselves.
Do you have showers
towels, lockers etc?
Our bathrooms and showers are now open as we move into the next phase of rollback. For hygiene reasons we will be providing bath mats, however, require you to bring your own sweat towels which are mandatory to work out with us. We also ask you to bring your own bath towel should you require one. We have a limited number of towels on hand that will be available to rent if you forget yours. Bath towels are $1.50 and gym towels are $1 per use.
Do I need
to bring anything?
We provide all of the things you’ll need to complete our classes including weights, yoga mats, and boxing gloves. You will need to bring a water bottle and sweat towel for all of our classes as well as inners and wraps if you’re boxing.
We have medical grade sanitary wipes throughout the venue to ensure you feel safe and comfortable at all times. You can read more about how we’re keeping the club fresh and clean here.
How do I check how many classes
I have remaining this week?
If you haven’t already, download our branded app. Once you login, open the side bar on the left and hit my account. If you can’t see anything, drag the screen down (or whatever your phone usually needs to reload) and your active passes should appear with how many sessions you have left available and when you need to use them by.
When I sign up to a membership,
will my visits roll over if they are unused?
Your visits will not automatically roll over if they are left unused. If you are on a membership that is debited fortnightly, you can use your available sessions within that fortnight. Get in touch with our wonderful concierge team if you have any questions or personal circumstances you’d like to talk through.
How many people are there
in each class?
Class capacities will vary depending on the style of the class and how much space it requires. We have designed the new timetable to allow for safe social distancing and at least 1.5m between each participant.
Do you sell
gift cards or vouchers?
You can purchase any of our memberships, passes or consultations like massage using one of our Gift Cards. These are currently only available at our reception but we hope to sell them online soon.
if I cancel a class?
Our cancellation policy has been designed to ensure that everyone has a chance to attend the classes they want to. For pre-booked classes, all cancellations must be made at least 4-hours prior to the beginning of the class. Any Membership, Trial Pass, Casual and 10 Pass holders that do not cancel out of their class with more than 4-hours notice or who don’t show up for their session will have a class deducted.
Can I bring my dog
to the Rec Club?
We love hosting four-legged friends on our rooftop, however please note that your dog must be kept on a lead at all times. We aren’t able to allow dogs in classes, so if you need to leave yours unattended please secure their lead to one of our flagpoles. If your pup needs water, just let us know and we’ll be more than happy to help.
How can I
stay up to date?
can I do if I’m pregnant?
When you’re pregnant, the general rule of thumb is that you can continue with any exercise you were doing before your pregnancy. You need to be careful not to overheat and not to over stretch. We recommend you check with your doctor or midwife before taking part in any classes and tell your instructor. If in doubt stick to pregnancy-specific classes. For more information on our postnatal classes visit our timetable.
Can I extend the
duration of my pass?
If you have a pass that you can’t use up because of an injury or sickness then please bring us a sick note from your doctor or some other proof of your injury and we will extend the expiry date for you.
